Embark on an unforgettable journey through time and history as we visit the most important UNESCO-Listed Classical historical places in Greece. Over the course of 3 days Ancient Greece tour, we will take you on a fascinating tour of some of Greece’s most iconic landmarks.
Our journey begins with a visit to the atmospheric hilltop ruins of Mycenae Archaeological Site. Marvel at the world-famous Lion’s Gate, Tomb of King Agamemnon, and Palace as our knowledgeable guide takes you through the myths and legends of this ancient civilization.
Next, we will explore the breathtaking Epidaurus Ancient Theater, built in the 4th century BC. Be awed by its fabulous acoustics and discover the mythological birthplace of the Greek God of Healing at the Sanctuary of Asklepios.
We will then move on to Nauplion, a picturesque city located by the sea. Stroll through its little streets and soak up the history of the Old Town and Fortress.
Our next destination is the historical Ancient Olympia Archaeological Site, where the first Olympic Games were held. Learn about the origins of the games and the role they played in Greek society.
Our final stop is Delphi Archaeological Site, considered the Center of the World in Ancient Greece. Admire the famous Temple of Apollo and try to spot the well-known ancient engravings on the stone such as ‘Know Thyself’ and ‘Nothing in Excess’ used in Socrates’ philosophy works. Delphi is one of the most important archaeological sites in Europe, and our guide will reveal the fascinating history behind this iconic landmark.

We'll depart from Athens in the morning and head to the first stop on our tour, Mycenae Archaeological Site. Here, we'll explore the hilltop ruins and see famous landmarks such as the Lion's Gate, Tomb of King Agamemnon, and Palace. Next, we'll visit the breathtaking Epidaurus Ancient Theater, which was built in the 4th century BC and still boasts incredible acoustics. Nearby, we'll also see the Sanctuary of Asklepios, which is believed to be the mythological birthplace of the Greek God of Healing. Afterward, we'll fall in love with the little streets of Nauplion, its Old Town, and the Fortress. In the evening, we'll depart for Olympia and stay overnight.
We'll start the morning by visiting the Ancient Olympia Archaeological Site. Afterward, we'll drive via Patras and cross the channel to Antirion via the new suspended bridge, which is considered the longest and most modern in Europe. Along the way, we'll pass through the charming village of Nafpaktos before continuing on to Delphi, where we'll stay overnight.
On the final day of our tour, we'll head to the Delphi Archaeological Site, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and considered the "Navel of the Earth". Here, we'll have the opportunity to admire the "Omphalos" (Navel) of the Ancient world and feel the mystery of the Temple of Apollo, where Pythia delivered her prophecies. In the evening, we'll drive back to Athens, bringing an end to our 3-Day Classical Tour to Mycenae, Nauplion, Epidaurus, Olympia, and Delphi.
