Delphi Archaeological Site, Museum, and Arachova Village Tour

Embark on a journey to explore the UNESCO-listed Classical site of Delphi Archaeological Site, the center of the world in Ancient Greece. Our Delphi Tour allows you to witness the historical treasures dated from the 15th century BC in the Museum of Delphi, including the famous long-lost “Bronze Charioteer” and “Sphinx of Naxos”. Admire the famous monuments, the Temple of Apollo, and the ancient stone engravings of ‘Know Thyself’ and ‘Nothing in Excess’, used in Socrates’ philosophy works.

During the tour, our Professional Guide leads you to delve into the turbulent rich history of Delphi, where the modern world meets the past. On our way to the Delphi Archaeological Site, we pass through the Kingdom of Oedipus, driving with our guide.

First, we visit the Delphi Archaeological Site, known as “the Navel of the Earth”, and explore the renowned ruins of the “Omphalos” (Navel) of the Ancient world. You will feel the mystery in the Temple of Apollo in Delphi, where Pythia delivered her prophecies while seated on her tripod.

Next, we visit Arachova Village, a traditional Greek village located on the slopes of Parnassus mountain. Wander around the picturesque stone houses, enjoy the colorful scenery and immerse yourself in the traditional Handcrafts of the village. The village is known for its famous handmade carpets, and it has been transformed into a cosmopolitan center of winter holidays.

On the way back to Athens, we pass through the cities of Levadia and Thieves. Our tour ends at around 6:30 p.m. after a full day of exploring the historical sites and picturesque villages of Greece.
